Fuckboy Chronicles: Offset Should Sit His Ass Down Somewhere
Offset is making it his business to be intrusive as fuck. He has made a very public video apologizing to his estranged wife, Cardi B. Not only that, his latest antics were interrupting mid-show to take him back.
Now some of y’all might think that’s cute but his stunts are the absolute bullshit. It’s bad enough that his philandering ways brought unnecessary humiliation to Cardi B. Offset, clearly, didn’t see the value in being married and a new father. Instead of giving his wife the respect and honor she deserved, he chose to be in the streets. I understand that everybody’s marriage looks different to them. But he can’t spend his days being ain’t shit and then when wifey gets fed up and tells his ass to kick rocks- NOW he wants to get it together- publicly.
Naw bro.
That’s not how any of this works. I am all for making things right in the way that you fuck up. However, this isn’t that. This is a man bullying his way into his wife’s space while not giving her a chance to process her pain. Offset is, essentially, putting his needs and ego before his wife’s needs. It’s arrogant and narcissistic.
I’m sure Cardi B didn’t have an easy time deciding to end her marriage. Nobody wants to just end their marriage. On top of being a new mami and having a demanding career, she has to nurse a grown man’s ego because he fucked up?
Offset’s constant insertion into Cardi B ‘s space is toxic as fuck. We get ikt. He wants her back but she isn’t required to adhere to his funky ass timeline. That’s even if she decides to go back. The way my pettiness is set up- I would’ve had me calling security on his ass but that’s my ministry- not hers. He didn’t think of what he could lose beforehand. That’s the gag. Hindsight is always 20/20. And let’s face it- Cardi’s light is brighter than Offset’s will ever be.
And before anybody comes here with the shits… I SAID WHAT I SAID.
This isn’t about love for him. It’s about control. Without comparing them to Beyonce and Jay Z (but I really am), Offset isn’t hearing what his wife is actually saying. She had warned him before and his ego didn’t heed the advisory. Now, she did exactly what she said she was going to do. That’s a problem for Offset and many men like him.
Cardi isn’t Jesus. She doesn’t have to forgive nor forget. She doesn’t have to show grace. Belcalis doesn’t have to engage with a nigga who doesn’t fully understand that he’s “married married.”
Before Offset tries to get his wife back, he should probably go to therapy and figure out why he is fucking up in the first place. If he’s not willing to do that, Cardi B should continue giving him her ass to kiss. She doesn’t need him to invade her space to prove that he wants to be with her. He needs to do the damn work.
She said he’s a great father.
Hopefully, he will continue to be that and stop these dumb ass shenanigans.
